Why career paths@pierce?
While no two pathways will be the same across all majors, every Franklin Pierce University student will individualize their experience through career preparation that’s embedded in our first- and second-year curriculum, and all students will be presented with opportunities for internships or similar work-related experiences in their third and fourth years.
As student success is paramount here, students are supported by advisors at our Career Development Center. Also, many of our students take advantage or our undergraduate to graduate programs, like Nursing, Physician Assistant, Physical Therapy, Business, and Education. Pierce also has articulation agreements with law schools and medical schools. Furthermore, students also have opportunities to engage in faculty-student discovery research projects funded by the National Science Foundation, National Institutes of Health, and other prestigious organizations.
As Pierce students are super busy with academics, often occupied with our championship
athletics teams, and with many social elements involving new friends, the ability
to combine in-person and online learning helps them create a schedule that works optimally
for them.
